Should i kill victor fallout

House's securitrons rolled out onto the old Las Vegas Strip. By his own account, he has been in the town since but claims not to recall anything from before that time. Whether his programming allows him to realize it or not, there are things that Victor has been keeping from the townsfolk. For example, when Mr. House finally found the platinum chip in the ruins of Sunnyvale , Victor was tasked with returning it to the Lucky To achieve this, he hired seven couriers from the Mojave Express in Primm.

There were to be seven packages - six decoys, and one containing the real platinum chip, which was to be carried by Ulysses. After Ulysses refused the job, the task fell to the Courier , who was intercepted by Benny , Jessup and McMurphy to be eventually taken to Goodsprings Cemetery.

Benny took the chip, shot the Courier in the head, and left them for dead. Unable to intervene due to unreliable data transfer from Mr. House and overriding combat algorithms, Victor stayed out of the altercation until after Benny and the Great Khans left.

Victor appears only in Fallout: New Vegas. Victor's name and the face displayed on his screen are both references to Vegas Vic , a neon sign on the outside of the Pioneer Club on Fremont Street in Las Vegas. Although now no longer moving or speaking, Vic's arm had at once waved, his cigarette moved, and the sign played a recording of 'Howdy Pardner! Fallout Wiki. Fallout Wiki Explore.

Fallout games. Classic games Fallout Fallout 2 Fallout Tactics. Fallout It was to far away to tell if it was victor, the securitron rolled over the hills and then rolled behind another one. By the time I got there to investigate there was nothing there I've seen other people say this too.

That gave me the feeling that someone was spying on me. I decided shit got to weird from that moment on and shot him down right then and there.

I even warned him back in Novac not to follow me. I didn't see him again unti Vegas, where of course Victor's true 'identity' was revealed.

After it turned out to be an AI commanded by Mr. House, it never gave me the creeps anymore, and on any subsequent play throughs I had just let Victor be. But before that however, on that long walk to Vegas with all the weird crap happening to me with Victor, it just gave me the "someone is watching you" feeling.

Anybody else get like this, or take a deeper interest if you could call it that than other players in what Victor was or what his purpose was.

I mean Trudy pretty much tells you right off the bat that he's weird, but the whole time I played the game before I hit Vegas I felt that robot was just to creepy. I even tried to do digging on him, such as going back to his shack and seeing if I could find anything there. Like I said, after I hit Vegas and talked to Mr. House about him, he didn't bother me at all on any other playthroughs.

But my first play through when I had all those encounters with him, seeing a Securiton behind me following me, and then disappearing behind some hills when I turn around and see it happened to me twice , and him showing up out of nowhere, right in time when the raiders are about to kill me outside Goodsprings.

And it was far enough outside Goodsprings that you know he wasn't just "passing by on a stroll". BigBoss , Jun 2, One of the disapointment i had with FoNV. There is definitally something going on with Victor on the way to the Strip. But afterward, he is just there to watch the Lucky38 doors. I was hoping for a little more interaction there.

On a side note, his scripts aren't always smoothy. Once, i was sneaking in an NCR medical tent in the middle of the night, to catch the guy who is stealing meds. I even fired my followers to enhance the immersion of that quiet moment. Then, suddenly, the dialog box open up and there is Victore talking to me about something totally unrelated, with his loudy voice.

I'd imagine some quack telling you that you have "multiple personalities" and "psychotic tendencies" would be pretty annoying. User Info: doreycole. Nothing much, his programming will just jump to another securitron. It's a long and lonely road, when you know you walk alone. Oh damn, i thought it was like when you kill him in vegas where he stays dead. User Info: Gameplayingperson. Yeah, if you go there later he'll be dark and it will say something to the effect of his AI being shut down or not present.

Something like that. User Info: Wyrmcraft. Victor can fight if you engage things close enough to goodsprings and you can watch him be killed by the local wildlife.

Yes or No. No definite answer. It depends on the random spawns around you. Sometimes it gets destroyed, sometimes it just stays there, sometimes it just despawns. Victor is functionally immortal not just by game logic but also by in-game logic, so you can meet it later no matter what, and it is the expected working.

So do not really fret over what happens to it at any given point, Victor will always be back as long as you don't kill his boss. Per page: 15 30 Date Posted: 17 Feb, am. Posts: 7.
