Already an established actor, Dennis Waterman had become a familiar face on TV as a result of 'The Sweeney' and George Cole had appeared alongside him in this show in an episode called 'Tomorrow Man' in The film is about the story of a teenage babysitter Amanda played Susan George who arrives at the Lloyd home Mr Lloyd played by George Cole to babysit their young son for the evening.
Mrs Lloyd played by Honor Blackman is hiding a shocking secret that could cost Amanda her life. Dennis Waterman plays the role of Amanda's boyfriend. This is the first time the two actors had appeared together on screen though neither of them was aware that they had appeared in the film until several years later when they were discussing the film while sitting in a car.
