French 11 is a course designed to help students become confident with the French language and develop skills required to effectively communicate in numerous different ways within real-life scenarios.
In this course, you will build upon the skills, knowledge and understanding you already have to become even more confident and fluent in French. It is expected that in tackling French 11, you are comfortable reading, writing and speaking in French given support in the form of vocabulary and study aids. Almost all of the instruction for this course will be delivered in French, just as it would be if you were in a regular Grade 11 French classroom setting.
As much as possible, we will be using authentic French language resources as content in place of a text or workbook. The overall goal of Interpersonal and Family Relationships is to provide students with a broad overview of how relationships form and change. Students explore a variety of relationships, including work relationships, friendships, and committed relationships, as well as examine how these relationships evolve or end.

Life Sciences Students accepted into Pursuit formerly Super Achievers are expected to take a minimum of six courses. During the Academic Tutorial, Grade 11 and 12 students will have access to an academic support block where a teacher not only promotes effective study skills but also assists students with their studies and identifies additional avenues of support, such as other teachers, peers, and learning resources.
Work habits will be assessed and regular attendance is expected. Students collect evidence to demonstrate their knowledge and competence in each of these three areas in a variety of ways. They may use school or community experiences to collect evidence, or use projects they have completed in class. Graduation Transitions is first introduced to students in their Planning 10 course.
