How do you get the mp5 in bf3

All I ever played it for was jet gameplay and not much else. And I'm beginning to think that wasting fifteen minutes I was lucky and got top five quickly wasn't worth it. The MP5K is horrible. It's good for hitmarkers and suppression points as far as I can tell. It doesn't help the most useful attachments comes around at sixty kills, and even that doesn't make it particularly good. Why use it when there's the MP7? I'm pretty sure every other numerical stat is worse. I'll play with it until I get at least a star for it but I probably won't use it much afterwards.

User Info: Hambone Idk what you mean by the MP5, as it's no in the game. Unless you mean G53? Idk anyway The G53 for me is horrible, The SG for me is a decent gun, with favorable irons, important as I only use irons. But it shoots too slow for me, and I just don't like the overall feel of it.
